A Welcome From Our Pastor

Dear Friends in Christ,

We hope you enjoy our web page; especially all the interesting links and the daily devotional from the Upper Room. But nothing we can do on the web page will help you know all the wonderful people of this congregation. We hope you will come for a visit and stay a lifetime.

Estancia United Methodist Church is in a rural area of the East Mountains about an hour out of Albuquerque. We are a small town church with a big heart. Our congregation is diverse, with people of many ages and several ethnic backgrounds. There are professionals and ranchers, young couples and retired folks. We share in a variety of music tastes from contemporary, gospel, to traditional. But this is not what is important about Estancia United Methodist Church. The important thing is that we are disciples for Jesus Christ. When you come to worship with us expect to experience the Spirit of God in a real and personal way. But, we are not just a group of individuals worshiping, we are a family – God’s family.

I hope you find what you are seeking. The Bible reveals God’s plan for this world like no other source. Jesus was the supreme revelation of God’s nature and His plan for all creation. Once you discover these truths revealed through God’s Spirit there is no going back. God has a plan for your life. Will you follow? I have never regretted giving my life over to His will. As the popular song Amazing Grace says: “I once was lost, but now am found, was blind but now I see.” What an amazing journey it is to be a part of God’s plan and will! May you discover the peace that passes understanding in Jesus Christ our Lord.
